Hamas shared the latest updates regarding ongoing efforts to establish a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Monday.

"We listened to the mediators about what happened recently in the Rome meeting concerning the ceasefire negotiations and prisoner exchange,” Hamas disclosed in a recent statement. 

Hamas accused “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of resuming a strategy characterized by procrastination and evasion. 

They claimed that Netanyahu introduced new conditions and demands that diverge significantly from the terms previously communicated by mediators. 

Hamas referred to these new demands as "Israeli" terms that are inconsistent with the framework outlined by US President Joe Biden and the UN Security Council resolution.
